Lions’ Scary New Logo Scaring Away Draft Picks

Reports of Matt Stafford’s camp demanding a GUARANTEED $40 million and the week that it’s taking to convince him to join the Detroit Lions with the #1 overall pick lead us to believe that it’s not so much the perennial losing, the being a citizen of the poorest major city in America, the high likelihood of being the victim of a violent crime (1 in 60!), or even the dibilitating cold weather. No, we think it’s the scary new logo the Lions unveiled recently. Now that the mascot’s mouth is open, you can almost hear him pleading for help.
