I think we have discussed my disdain for Pittsburgh sports and Ben in general in the past and I’ve watched as this whole sexual assault ickiness unfolded but I can remain silent no longer.
I read the police report yesterday and seriously, do yourselves a favor and read the entire thing. It is chock full of disgusting insight into the douchebag that is Ben Roethlisberger. I don’t care that the police decided to press no charges. In fact, I believe the accuser chose not to, which in my estimation means she is not out for money, she just wants the world to know that Roethlisberger is a dirty asshole.
Some gems worth noting: “I’m not down to fuck, but I like to fuck girls.” Okay Ben, that is super charming. You are also waste of space for chasing a girl who doesn’t want to have sex with you with your wang hanging out of your pants. You know, this is far worse than Tiger, at least his mistresses were willing participants. I don’t care how drunk this girl was, NOT OKAY.
I have to believe that as butt ugly as Ben Roethlisberger is, he is wealthy enough to find plenty of chicks who would throw themselves at him. What a loser.
So now we wait to see what will happen to him professionally. We do know that the Rooneys don’t play that, and it has been reported that trading him has been discussed. I would assume most people are cool with that as Ben is a poop stain on the storied tradition and history of the Steelers. Someone is bound to want him and they may end up with a decent draft pick out of the transaction.
Roethlisberger met with Roger Goodell on Tuesday and we’ll all have to wait to see what the NFL’s punishment will be. Some are speculating that he will only be given a fine. Lame.
My advice to Ben (other than go away forever) is listen to Terry Bradshaw.
